Release note #12
03-08-2026
Good day,
We’re pleased to announce the latest platform update. This release introduces new automation capabilities for Shipping Instructions, enhancements to transport order communication, dashboard improvements, stronger security, and a number of bug fixes.
Notifications
Notification Settings per Department
Super users can now save notification preferences per department, instead of relying on a single customer-wide default for everyone.
Per-order settings continue to work exactly as before, and a department without its own settings automatically follows the customer default until settings are saved for it directly.
How to use it:
- Open any order and go to Order → Notifications.
- At the top of the screen, use the Saving settings for dropdown to choose the context you are editing: the current order only, the customer-wide Default, or one or more specific departments.
- Select one or more departments, adjust the settings and save. The configuration is applied to all selected departments at once.
- Departments that already have their own saved settings are marked with a ✓ in the dropdown.
Note: This context is only available to super users. Standard users continue to see This order only.
Track & Trace
Actual Departure and Arrival Dates Now Shown as ATD/ATA
Once the carrier confirms the actual departure or arrival date, the Track & Trace page now shows ATD/ATA instead of the estimated ETD/ETA.
This makes it clear at a glance whether a date is still an estimate or already confirmed as an actual.
Demurrage & Detention
More Accurate Demurrage End Date
For carriers whose free time ends at cargo cut-off rather than at container loading or vessel departure, the demurrage period is now calculated against that actual cut-off moment.
This results in a more precise calculation of your demurrage exposure.
General Improvements / Bug Fixes
Automatic Retry for Transport Order Delivery
Transport orders that fail to reach a trucking partner due to server issues are now retried automatically, with an alert to the order owner if a retry also fails.
This reduces the risk of a missed handoff going unnoticed.
Daily Maersk Schedule Updates as Fallback
Active Maersk bookings are now refreshed daily via the Maersk schedule API as a fallback.
Schedules therefore stay current even when a booking confirmation update is missing or delayed.
Customs Declarations: Rejection on Trade Terms Location Resolved
Resolved an issue that could cause an export declaration to be rejected by Dutch Customs due to a formatting error in the shipper/location field of the Trade Terms section.
