Release note #11

20-07-2026

Good day,

We’re pleased to announce the latest platform update. This release introduces new automation capabilities for Shipping Instructions, enhancements to transport order communication, dashboard improvements, stronger security, and a number of bug fixes.

Export: Booking Module

Carrier comments visible in the booking:

Comments or remarks from the carrier on a confirmation or cancellation are now shown directly in step 6 of the booking, not only in the notification.

Shipping Instructions status fix:

Orders confirmed via email SI (with “Treat email sent as confirmed” enabled) now correctly update to “SI Confirmed”.

Loading date automation:

Super users can now configure, via MySettings, that the loading date in step 2 is automatically calculated per container from the VGM closing date (with terminal closing as a fallback), reducing manual entry errors and reducing manual input needed for Automated Trucking.

Booking without a schedule:

The requested ETD and ETA are now included in the booking request sent to the carrier when booking without a schedule.

Default Ports of Loading:

HelloContainer support users can now configure up to five default loading ports per customer, so the most-used ports are shown first when searching or booking.

Direct connection Yang Ming and CMA CGM:

Booking requests for Yang Ming and CMA CGM are now sent via direct EDI connection, no longer through INTTRA.

Demurrage and Detention Module

Demurrage & Detention status:

Containers in the D&D dashboard now show a clear status flag (Normal / Approaching / Incurring) alongside the existing day counter, and this column can be sorted and filtered.

General Improvements / Bug Fixes

Microsoft SSO login:

Resolved an issue where users signing in via Microsoft SSO were incorrectly prompted for a 2FA code.

Carrier document handling:

Fixed a background error that prevented incoming carrier documents from being attached to orders without an active booking.

Session redirect:

Users signing back in after a session timeout are no longer sent to an internal system page.

Schedule handling:

Orders without a schedule are now flagged “On Hold” when an incoming schedule update is invalid, so they’re visible for follow-up.

Allocations report:

Fixed an error that caused the allocations report to fail for customer users.

Order overview:

Fixed a crash affecting the order overview for certain orders without a valid unloading date.
