Good day,

We’re pleased to announce the latest platform update. This release introduces new automation capabilities for Shipping Instructions, enhancements to transport order communication, dashboard improvements, stronger security, and a number of bug fixes.

Export – Booking Module

  • Search results now filtered correctly by carrier: On the schedule search page, results only show the carrier(s) you’ve selected — schedules from other carriers no longer appear alongside your selection.
  • Trucking licence plate no longer mandatory for conventional orders: For orders of type “conventional,” the trucking licence plate field in Shipping Instructions is no longer required, since these shipments are loaded directly without a truck or seal number.
  • Document language settings per party: You can now configure a language preference per document type per party, so documents are generated automatically in the correct language without manual intervention. Available as part of the multilingual Goods feature.
  • Configurable status triggers per carrier: The transitions to ‘Container on Ship’ and ‘Container Arrived in POD’ can now be configured per carrier, so the workflow better matches the tracking data each carrier provides. Carriers without specific configuration continue to use planned dates as before.

Overviews & Reporting

  • Owner column in overview downloads: The Owner field is now included as a column in the Bookings, Containers, and Declarations overview downloads.
  • Initial milestone values stored for reporting: All tracked schedule milestones now store their initial value at first booking confirmation, following the same approach already used for ETD/ETA.

Transport Orders

  • More control over transport order email content: Additional options are now available to show or hide the purchase order number, HelloContainer order number, transport rate, and external transport ID on the transport order email.
  • SI consignee details now synced from SAP: Contact details and role tags on the linked address book party are now correctly synced whenever SAP sends an order update.

Platform & Security

  • Restricted dashboard access for the Trucking role: Users with the Trucking role no longer have access to the dashboard and overview screens, preventing exposure of order and customer data outside their own scope.

Track & Trace

  • DSV webhook integration: HelloContainer now receives, validates, and queues tracking events pushed directly from DSV, in addition to existing tracking sources.

General Improvements / Bug Fixes

  • Trucking party details preserved on API updates: A partial update via the API could overwrite the Operator Party, Contract Number, and Trucking Rate to empty, causing the trucking party in step 2 to disappear. This has been fixed.
  • API order creation no longer crashes on empty transport order entries: Creating an order via the API could fail with an error when a transport orders entry was empty. This has been resolved.
  • Shipping instructions no longer retried on archived orders: Automatic shipping instructions were being retried every night on orders that had already been archived. This has been fixed.
