Good day,

We’re pleased to share that a new deployment has just been released. Here’s a summary of the improvements we’ve implemented to support your work:

New Features

Customs: Sending alternative proof via DMS Users can now select and send PDF files uploaded in HelloContainer as alternative proof via the Dutch Customs Digital Dossier (DMS) system. Previously, only a remark could be added without attaching actual documentation.

Logging for automatic archiving Automatic archiving of orders is now logged in the order and system log. Users and support staff can now see when the system triggered automatic archiving.

Bug Fixes

Pre-booking checkbox could not be unchecked Users were unable to uncheck the “Is pre-booking” checkbox in step 1 when a booking was originally created as a pre-booking. This has been resolved; bookings can now be converted to a regular export booking.

Shipping instructions status stuck on ‘Sent’ Shipping instructions were not progressing from Sent to Confirmed after order confirmation. The underlying error in the status transition has been fixed

Extra Notify Party could not be removed in SI A 3rd Party (Extra Notify Party) added in step 5 of the Shipping Instructions reappeared after saving and reloading, even after deletion. This has been resolved.

Language setting was not saved in profile The selected language (English, German or Dutch) was not retained after saving profile settings. This has been fixed.

Extra address line not fully included in SI Not all content of the “Extra address line” field was included in the shipping instruction. The full field content is now sent correctly, including validation on maximum length.

Booking amendment could not be sent via email Sending an amendment via the email strategy resulted in an error. The email flow for amendments has been corrected.

Vent/drain settings not visible in step 5 of SI The vent/drain settings from step 1 were not displayed in step 5 of the Shipping Instructions. This front-end issue has been resolved.

Technical Improvements

Global styling update The button for creating a new item on overview pages has been moved to the top-right of the overview table, ensuring consistent placement across the application.

Main navigation update The navigation structure has been expanded and reorganised for faster access to frequently used pages. Navigation items now show a dropdown on hover to quickly navigate to underlying tabs. Declarations have been moved from the user dropdown to Shipments. A new Rates menu has been added, containing sea freight rates, trucking rates, allocations and the allocations dashboard. The Tasks module now uses datatables for departments and task templates.

Searches overview updated The styling of the Dashboard searches and the Searches page has been refreshed, aligned with the global styling guidelines.

Export/Import popup styling updated The upload and download popup has received an updated design, consistent with the global styling update.

Overview pages migrated to Vue Multiple overview pages have been fully converted to Vue components, including the customs download modal. Bootstrap elements have been replaced with Element Plus.

Visual layout markup migrated to Vue (menus) The main and support menus have been converted to Vue components in preparation for the Inertia layout structure.
